Yarn is curled to provide desirable properties in the artificial turf. Our curly TT is produce by crimping in air or steam tunnels. TT can be used in short pile application such as hockey, bowls and golf where the curled finish counters the pile direction from tufting, giving even and non-directional ball roll. TT also can be used for long pile and thatch application. The curly is proving a valuable tool not only to provide defined surface performance but also to provide desirable aesthetics and haptic properties and reduce the level of infill required in both sport and leisure applications
